Round 1 – Newson comes out aggressive with pressure and Garcia is looking to counter. They exchange some body kicks. and Newson goes for a spinning kick to the head. Garcia counters a weak jumping knee attempt with a hard right hand. Garcia overcommits on a punch and Newson springs into a takedown, but Newson pops right back up. Garcia lands a nice leg kick, then a stinging left hook, right hook combination. Neeson has become somewhat tentative with less than 45 seconds remaining in the round. Newson lands a late leg kick then clinches up before the end of the round. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Garcia.

Round 2 – Newson swings wild to start the round, causing Newson to back up toward the cage. He misses his shots and Garcia evades and circles back to the cage. Garcia is controlling the striking exchanges, in terms of range, but Newson is finding his spots to land, as well. The action picks up around the midway point of the round, with both men connecting. Newson just misses on a sweeping head kick. Garcia lands a hard straight, then a left hook. Newson starts to have troubles landing with his hands, and Garcia is finding a home for the counters. Garcia implores Newson to exchange down the stretch. MMA Junkie scores it 10-9 for Newson, and ties it up 19-18 on our scorecard.

Round 3 – Newson starts the final round with a big takedown and takes the back against the fence and starts throwing punches. Garcia gets up with just under four minutes remaining the round, and stalks his opponent as he works behind the jab. Newson is now looking to counter and repeatedly throws the stepping side kick to the body of his opponent. Garcia stays calm and maintains his pressure as the fight goes down the wire. Newson lands a HARD right hand that seems to stagger Garcia a bit and back him up. Garcia circles away and eats another huge shot. Strong ending for Newson, who takes the fight 29-28 on our scorecard. It was a close one and could go either way.

Round 1 – Godinez wastes no time securing a takedown inside the first 30 seconds of the round. Both ladies are scrambling and Godinez nearly takes the back in the midst of an exchange, but Carnelossi is stopping her from getting both hooks in. Godinez gets half guard and controls things for the entirety of an utterly one-sided round. MMA Junkie scores it 10-8 for Godinez.

Round 2 – Godinez lands a CRACKING punch at the very start of the round that has Carnelossi hurt and backs her up. Godinez shoots into a big takedown that puts her opponent on the mat, and she takes the back and is chasing a rear-naked choke. She can’t finish the initial attempt, and Carnelossi flips over and recovers half guard. Godinez is working to isolate an arm with a kimura, but she can’t finish it. Godinez then sets up an arm-triangle choke, but she can’t finish that, either. Carnelossi is fighting to escape and get up, but she’s getting completely mauled on the mat. It’s another 10-8 round for Godinez, who is up 20-16 on our scorecard.

Round 3 – How do you think Godinez started the final round? With an immediate takedown, of course. Carnelossi has zero answers as she’s dragged back down to the mat within seconds. Carnelossi shows some heart by trying to sweep into a leg lock, but Godinez ain’t having it. Carnelossi gets up, only to be lifted off her feet and slammed back to the mat. Godinez bashes her with elbows from half guard, and this is a complete destruction at this point. She keeps pouring it on until the final bell, and it’s another 10-8 round. MMA Junkie scores it 30-24 for Godinez. Very impressive.

Result: Loopy Godinez def. Ariane Carnelossi via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26) Photos: Loopy Godinez vs. Ariane Carnelossi fight photos Records: Loopy Godinez (8-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC), Ariane Carnelossi (14-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) Division: Women’s strawweight Broadcast: ESPN+ Referee: Jason Herzog Judging: Eric Colon (30-26), Chris Lee (30-26), Chris Flores (30-27)

Round 1 – Vergara comes out throwing heavy hands and puts Rodrigues on the back foot early in the bout. He keeps the pressure on, but Rodrigues waits for his opening to change levels into a double leg takedown. The crowd urges Vergara to get back to his feet, and he uses the fence to do exactly that moments later. Rodrigues still has him pinned against the cage, but he eventually backs off. Vergara connects with a solid left hook and evades a kick from his opponent. Both men pick up the offensive output in the second half of the round. Vergara is trying to walk Rodrigues down with straight punches and hooks, while Rodrigues is circling away before landing a late body kick. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Vergara.

Round 2 – Vergara scores an early takedown and transitions into mount where he unleashed a gigantic flurry. He’s using the fence for leverage, though, and the referee pulls his hand off, allowing Rodrigues to scramble and recover guard. Vergara is doing solid work from on top as he uses good posture and ground-and-pond to wear Rodrigues down.  He gets mount again with less than one minute remaining and batters on Rodrigues, who gives up his back but then reverses his way into guard! Vergara immediately kicks him off and stands up, and Rodrigues comes forward with desperation and lands a pretty spinning backfist. They exchange punches down the stretch. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Vergara, who is up 20-18 on our unofficial card.

Round 3 – They exchange punches early and Vergara lands an uppercut that lands clean on Rodrigues. He then lands another shot that causes him to fall to the canvas, but as he chases him to the ground Rodrigues pulls a super slick transition to take the back and go for an ultra-rare calf slicer. Vergara keeps calm as Rodrigues tries to put pressure on the leg and finish the submission. He kicks his way out of the situation and rolls over into half guard, but Rodrigues reverses him again and takes over from half guard in his own right. This round is tit-for-tat, but Rodrigues surely needs a finish to get the win. They scramble back to the feet with less than 90 seconds remaining, and Rodrigues lands a nice left hook. Both men are fading late from a grueling pace. They slow slow strikes in the final moments, and neither can secure the finish. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Rodrigues, but it’s no enough on our card as Vergara should get the 29-28 nod.

Result: CJ Vergara def. Round 1 – Gatto comes out winging big punches, but her aggression leads her right into a takedown and Cortez’s world. Gatto tries for an armbar off the back, but she’s easily shucked off and it’s one-way traffic from there from Cortez. She establishes top controls and works there for the entirety of the round. There wasn’t many big moments or significant damage to speak of, but Cortez controlled her way to an easy 10-9 opening round on the MMA Junkie scorecard.

Round 2 – Cortez wisely goes back to the grappling attempts to begin the second stanza, but this time Gatto is ready for it and fends her off. They fight within the clinch before Gatto breaks free and turns the tables with a takedown of her own. She has Cortez pinned near the fence and Cortez gives up the back. Gatto goes for a rear-naked choke but then postures up and lands some hard ground-and-pound as Cortez has her belly down. Cortez scrambles and works for the choke again, but then transitions into a an armbar! She can’t get it, however, and Cortez slips free and is now on top and in the guard of her opponent. Cortez controls the rest of the round, but struggles to inflict damage. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Gatto.

Round 3 – To the surprise of no one, the final round starts with a battle for top control. Cortez wins that battle as she’s the first to establish top position, and this time she opening up with the offensive. She dives through the guard of Gatto with some nice punches and uses her strength to keep her opponent down. Gatto desperately tries to get up, but gives up her back instead. Gatto then tries to get into a heel hook, but she eats some nasty punches instead. She stays committed to the heel hook, but Cortez fends her off. Gatto doesn’t give up as she scrambles to the back, but she’s too close to the fence to do anything effective. Cortez reverses into top control with less than one minute remaining and is working for an arm-triangle choke. It briefly looks deep, but Gatto gets out. Cortez controls the final seconds, and wins 10-9 in the third and 29-28 on the MMA Junkie scorecard.

Round 1 – Both men are swinging in the early going, but nothing lands super clean. That changes in a hurry when Fialho counters an uppercut from VanCamp with a savage left hook that immediately drops him to the canvas. He dives in with one more nasty shot, and we have our first finish of the night. Beautiful, violent knockout for Fialho in his third UFC fight of the year thus far.

Round 1 – They touch gloves, and Lima takes the center of the cage with Ivanov on the outside. Lima throws a head kick that’s blocked and follows up with two leg kicks. Lima’s thrown five kicks in the first 45 seconds, and the fifth one goes to the groin. Temporary stoppage for Ivanov to recover. Only a minute. Lima continues attacking with leg kicks, throws his first punch combo 90 seconds in, which gets Ivanov’s attention. Lima closes the distance and lands a nice uppercut, but Ivanov east it well. Ivanov hasn’t been very acting and continues circling to his right. Ivanov closes with a left, but Lima counters with a hard two-three combo. There’s blood on Ivanov’s forehead now. Both guys are now swinging heavy, nothing but power shots when they throw. Lima throws a front kick that’s caught by Ivanov, who drives him to the fence where they clinch. Lima has two underhooks and escapes off the cage after a few moments. They close the round each landing hooks. Good momentum swing for Ivanov late, but still that round goes to Lima 10-9.

Round 2 – Ivanov controls the center and pushes forward this time. He pushes Lima against the fence into the clinch. Good combo by Lima landing two punches. And another counter-combo from Lima before Ivanov misses a takedown but charges and tags Lima with a left across the chin. Now they’re against the cage in the clinch again. Lima eventually throws Ivanov off him, and they square up. Everything Lima’s throwing is combos. Ivanov fires back with a hard right, and now they are both throwing freely in the pocket. They’re both landing. Battle attrition at this point, with both guys breathing heavily. They clinch against the cage, and this might be anyone’s round with 90 seconds remaining. Lima employs some dirty boxing, and Ivanov lands to the body on the way out. A 1-2 combo from Ivanov, followed by another one. And another clinch now against the fence with Lima against the fence. Lima lands one final shot before the bell rings. That was a close round, but Lima appeared to land the better combos. 10-9 Lima (but barely).

Round 3 – Ivanov connects to the body early, but Lima is landing some nice jabs. Ivanov doesn’t stop coming forward and lands a couple punches that make Lima shoot for a takedown. They’re against the fence now in the clinch. Lima is level-changing slowly, and now his head is trapped in a headlock. Referee Marc Goddard warns them to get active and then separates them. Ivanov is dictating the pace at this point, throwing forward, but Lima initiates another clinch. Lima is against the the fence and again, not a lot of action means warnings from Goddard. Ivanov wants to separate, but Lima holds onto him. He does let him go, and they’re both throwing wild punches. Ivanov eats them but still trudges forward and has Lima on his back foot. Ivanov closes for another clinch against the cage. Lima, though reverses the position, and now he’s just leaning on Ivanov as he walks to the center. Final 30 seconds, and Ivanov is just throwing punch after punch, and then there’s another clinch in which Lima actually lifts Ivanov OFF THE MAT and ABOVE the cage to get him down. The round closes with Lima on top, but that was ultimately a striking round in favor of Ivanov. He wins the final round 10-9, but we think the fight goes to Lima 29-28.

Round 1 – Schnell comes out very aggressive, but they settle down. Now Royval connects with a kick and some punches. Fast pace in the early going here. Schnell snaps Royval’s face back with a left hand, and then he drops him with a left hand, and now Schnell is all over Royval on the mat. He ends up in the guard, and Royval is working nicely from bottom, and now Schnell hits a guillotine while rolling. The grappling is insane, and now Royval sinks in a guillotine in transition, and that’s it! Schnell double tapped almost instantly. Fight is over as Royval wins his second straight. What a crazy pace. Entertaining fight.

Result: Brandon Royval def. Matt Schnell via submission (guillotine choke) – Round 1, 2:14 Recap: UFC 274 video: Brandon Royval taps Matt Schnell, calls for flyweight title shot Photos: Records: Brandon Royval (14-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC), Matt Schnell (15-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC) Division: Flyweight Broadcast: ESPN/ESPN+ Referee: Ryan Brueggeman

Round 1 – Dumont takes the center of the cage with Chiasson on the outside circling, feeling-out process in the opening 30 seconds before Chiasson misses with a head kick. Dumont just misses with a right hand. Now they exchange a bit. Dumont counters a leg kick with an overhand right that knocks Chiasson backward, and now they’re both aggressively throwing but picking their spots. Chiasson is switching between traditional and southpaw to throw off Dumont. She closes the distance with a stiff jab. Chiasson’s footwork has her a little bit ahead of Dumont. They close distance at the same time, clinch for a moment, and Chiasson lands the best punch of the fight so far on the way out. Nice left hook. Chiasson connects with a good right hand to the forehead. She’s doing a great job creating angles to strike, using her length well. Dumont throws a spinning backfist in the final seconds that misses and leads to a Chiasson take down just for good measure on a round that was already hers. 10-9 Chiasson.

Round 2 – Chiasson opens up darting in and out, just like she did a lot in Round 1. She’s continuing to use her range and manage distance well from the outside. Dumont lands a right hand, but nothing major. They trade leg kicks, and now Chiasson closes the distance with a two-punch combo. She then initiates the clinch, with Dumont’s back against the fence. Chiasson seems intent on getting the fight to the mat, and she finally drags her down and takes Dumont’s back, but she rushed it and loses the position. Dumont is briefly on top before they work back up to the feet, Chiasson having double underhooks. They’re just about stagnant until Chiasson sloppily drags the fight to the mat. She was briefly in danger of losing position but gets it back, and they’re clinched against the cage again. Chiasson has double underhooks but can’t seem to get the fight own to the mat. She definitely controlled the position most of this round and wins it 10-9.

Round 3 – Chiasson attacks right away, but Dumont counters and staggers Chiasson briefly. Then Dumont lands another hard right hand, which forces Chiasson to shoot for a takedown, and she gets it. Now they’re clinched against the fence again. Chiasson continues to be committed to the takedown, or she’s just comfortable stalling against the cage. Very little action with 2 minutes remaining, and the crowd boos. Chiasson appears comfortable to just hold Dumont. Now Chiasson makes a mistake, and Dumont ends up on top before she sweeps her. Dumont finds space and lands a hard 1-2 combo that staggers Chiasson, who now is quite literally trying to hold on for the win. She’s worn down but hanging onto the clinch. Dumont needs to break this so she can let her hands fly, but she’s struggling to get out with 30 seconds left. Now she’s trying for a standing guillotine, but nope. Too late. Chiasson controlled most of the round, but Dumont had two instances where she might’ve been able to finish. She gets the final round 10-9, but the fight goes to Chiasson 29-28 in our estimation.

Round 1 – Trinaldo takes the center of the cage with Roberts on the outside. A wild head kick causes a slip from Roberts, and he’s fortunate Trinaldo missed with a big right hand on the recovery. Now they’re in the clinch, and Trinaldo lands a good uppercut. Roberts throws a front kick, and Trinaldo counters with an overhand left. A lot of bouncing around and movement from both men as they size each other up. Good left hand connects from Trinaldo. Roberts responds with a missed front kick and left. They close distance at the same time and bounce back out. They continue with good head movement and bouncing around, both men. Roberts is trying to find his distance, and Trinaldo lands a nice overhand left on the counter. Roberts is keeping Trinaldo at bay nicely now. He’s throwing up the middle to keep him off. Roberts lands a left but then eats two punches on the way out. Now they’re both exchanging in the final 30 seconds. Roberts throws a nice high kick that catches Trinaldo’s attention, but he eats a right hand. That was a close first round that we’ll give to Roberts 10-9.

Round 2 – Trinaldo staggers Roberts with a left hand that wobbles him, and has him hurt really bad. What a weird reaction, shades of Shane Burgos! Wow, Trinaldo clinches instead of capitalizing, and now Roberts seems to have recovered. What a wasted opportunity. But he again has Roberts hurt with a body shop and then another left to the face, and now Roberts is in serious trouble. He’s locked in a standing guillotine, but somehow Roberts drops to the mat and manages to sneak out, but he’s still in danger with Trinaldo in side control. Big first half of the round for Trinaldo who has almost finished twice. Trinalda is still in top position with 2 minutes remaining, and he lands some punches. They’re entangled in half guard, and Roberts is doing what he can to not get mounted. Now Trinaldo passes the guard, and Trinaldo is wasting his chances on the ground to maybe finish. Now Trinaldo has Roberts’ back but only briefly, and they’re up, and it’s a slugfest. Roberts is trying to make something happen, just letting it fly, but Trinaldo responds. Compelling finish to the round. Given Trinaldo had two opportunities to finish and then controlled the mat time, we’re gonna go 10-8 Trinaldo.

Round 3 – Trinaldo takes the center again. They clinch, and now we have a wild exchange. It’s brief, and Trinaldo hurts Roberts. Neither man looks fatigued. Nice inside leg kick lands for Roberts, who then loads up and misses and ends up in a clinch. They both close at the same time and miss. Good left hand from Trinaldo, and Roberts responds to the body. Roberts again is hurt on wobbly legs after what looked like an elbow, but Trinaldo clinches again for some reason! Makes no sense! Now Roberts is recovered and they’re squared off for the final minute. Now they’re throwing again. Roberts connects with a left but then gets caught with an uppercut. Roberts is doing what he can to separate in the final 30 seconds, but Trinaldo level changes in the clinch. They’ll end like this. We give that one to Trinaldo 10-9. Overall, we see it 29-27 for Trinaldo.

Result: Francisco Trinaldo def. Danny Roberts via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-26, 30-27) Photos: Francisco Trinaldo vs. Danny Roberts fight photos Records: Danny Roberts (18-6 MMA, 7-5 UFC), Francisco Trinaldo (28-8 MMA, 18-7 UFC) Division: Welterweight Broadcast: ESPN+ Referee: Ryan Brueggeman Judging: Eric Colon (29-28), Junichiro Kamijo (30-26), Chris Flores (30-27)

Round 1 – Feeling out for the first 20 seconds until Williams rushes in wildly and gets hit with a counter as Brown backs up. They settle in the middle. Brown darts in with a right to the body and eats a right on the way out. Brown tries to work his jab from distance, then goes high with a kick that Williams catches, but Brown retreats. He baits Williams, who clinches with him. Nothing happening, though, and they separate. Brown got clipped with something on the way in, and he’s in some trouble. Brown shoots out of desperation, and now Williams is going for a D’Arce, but he has to let it go. Brown is recovered with 2 minutes remaining, and they square off in the center of the cage. Brown slips after trying to land a kick. Brown goes for a jumping knee that misses. But then he lands a couple of hard punches. Williams counters with a leg kick on the way out. They clinch, and Brown goes for a standing guillotine but can’t keep it. He tries for it a second time to end the round, but there was never any danger. Close-ish round that goes to Williams 10-9.

Round 2 – Clean right hand by Brown to open the round. Round follows with a look kick, and he looks comfortable. A little bit of showboating even. Brown with a nice double jab. Good kick to the leg that back Williams up and then a nice jab by Brown. He’s off to a good start in these first 90 seconds. Brown has changed things up here and is using the jab nicely, making Williams uncomfortable. Williams rushes in and ends up clinching against the cage. They separate, and Brown is back to attacking. His head movement has been solid. This is a nice display of boxing from Brown. Williams might be frustrated with Brown’s footwork and continuing to slide in and out with jabs. With 90 seconds left, they clinch with Brown against the cage. Williams hits a little right hand on the way out. Brown throws a spinning back kick that misses. Brown catches Williams with a right hook on the way in in the final 20 seconds. This ends up being a good, smart round from Brown, who clearly takes it 10-9.

Round 3 – Slow first minute then Williams throws a three punch combo that lands one. Still good movement from Brown, who lands a right hand. Brown again with another bigger right hand that just misses clean. Brown’s forward pressure has Williams backing up. It’s little pot shots working for Brown, who is utilizing his reach. Williams swings big and misses. Seems like Brown is seeing things well, but then whoa, Williams lands a hard right hand as Brown ducks down. A knockdown for Williams. But Brown doesn’t stay down long, and Brown lands a hard right hand . Brown is now pouring it on. Throwing a right hand behind the jab is working nicely. Big swing and a miss for Brown. Shouldn’t have done that when the 1-2 was working nicely. Now they’re clinched again after Brown fell on the miss with 1 minute left. They separate, and there’s a big elbow from Brown. Williams misses with a spinning backfist. Brown throws a couple of big knees. One last Superman punch from Williams misses in the final seconds. Williams had the best moment of the round with that knockdown, but overall Brown landed better. We’re going 10-9 Brown, who should get the win 29-28 in our estimation.

Round 1 – Both throw kicks low to start the round, but this is mostly a feeling-out process. More kicks follow, but nothing major in the first minute. OSP is first to rush in, and he gets countered and backs off. Shogun’s stomach is red from body kicks that are landing. Nice punch down the pipe from OSP wakes up Shogun. More front kicks to the body from OSP, too. The body kicks have been effective. He could be setting up high for later. Shogun tries closing distance twice, but OSP evades. A hard front kick to the body stumbles Shogun backward. Shogun has a little bit of blood on his forehead, not sure what it’s from. Shogun starts to land some inside low kicks. This was a patient round from both men. OSP takes it 10-9.

Round 2 – The first minute is a continuation of the first round, with both men patient and throwing one kick at a time. Shogun’s entire chest and stomach are very red. Finally a nice 1-2 combo from Shogun with 3:30 remaining. But they’re back to being patient, with Shogun in the center and OSP circling outside. Shogun rushes and tags OSP with a right hand. Shogun catches a body kick and lands a nice counter. Nice inside leg kick from Shogun again, who follows up with a nice power right down the middle. Lackluster Round 2 comes to a close with OSP darting in, but nothing comes of it. Boring round. 10-9 Shogun.

Round 3 – Shogun throws a kick up high, and OSP responds by going to the clinch. He’s got Shogun against the cage for a few seconds then they split. The phone lights are on now inside Footprint Center. Nobody is entertained by what’s happening in the cage. Anyway, OSP is throwing straight lefts that are landing. It’s one strike at a time backing up Shogun. No combos, but it’s working. OSP takes center cage, and Shogun circles on the outside. Shogun is having a hard time keeping up this late in the fight. Those body kicks have to be hurting Shogun, who looks sunburned on his chest and stomach from all the kicks. He’s so red. OSP glances with a head kick, just misses. A nice straight left from OSP changes things up. The crowd is booing as we near the final minute. Nothing else to say really. This was a very lackluster fight that shouldn’t have been on pay-per-view. That round belongs to OSP 10-9. He should win 29-28 in our view.

Round 1 – No glove tap from Ferguson. A lot of shifting and bouncing from both men to start. Ferguson is switching between orthodox and southpaw. Chandler’s jab is there, then a body shot. Ferguson drops Chandler with a right and then left hand! Chandler is bleeding from the nose, but he’s recovered now. He’s throwing a little wild now. Ferguson just misses with a counter left hand but still clips him. Chandler’s being sloppy with his punches and then blasts in  for a double leg, gets it. Ferguson is on his back near the cage. Chandler needs to be careful for the triangle. He’s trying to posture up to throw ground-and-pound. He’s landing now, but Ferguson is also being offensive from his back. Now Chandler is getting some punches through. Chandler is leaking blood. Ferguson is trying to control posture and throw elbows from bottom. This is wild action, and now Ferguson is cut from his right eye. What a tough round to score, but we think Ferguson edged it out. 10-9 “El Cucuy.”

Round 2 – Ferguson assumes the center of the cage then backs up. And WOW, it’s over! A front kick to the face puts Ferguson straight to sleep! Just like that, it’s over. He was leaning forward a little bit and left his head hanging out there, and Chandler just timed that front kick perfectly and at just the right angle. What a shot.

Round 1 – Feeling-out process to begin, with Namajunas back on her heels. She’s daring Esparza to close distance. No strikes thrown in the first minute. Esparza presses forward with a Superman punch that does nothing. They remain separated. Two minutes in, and neither fighter has landed anything or thrown much. Esparza lands a left hand on the way in, but it’s quick. Namajunas lands a jab. Both women are being strategic and sticking to their game plans. Namajunas lands another quick left. Esparza tries rushing in, but Namajunas evades. This was a VERY lackluster round. So hard to score, but if we’re going back center control of the cage, then it’s Esparza 10-9 (we guess?).

Round 2 – Namajunas assumes the center of the cage now. A lot of movement in the first minute but no action. Finally a shot from Esparza, a good entry, but it’s defended nicely by Namajunas. Two minutes in, and that’s the biggest action of the fight so far. Esparza ducks under a left and throws one of her own on the way up, may have landed barely. Namajunas says something to Esparza with 90 seconds left, not sure what it is. Namajunas lands a straight left. Esparza lands a leg kick. The crowd is now doin the wave. That’s how boring this round has been. One final front kick from Esparza lands on the chest. Again, we’re gonna go 10-9 Esparza (we guess?).

Round 3 – Namajunas assumes the center of the cage, but Esparza meets her there. They throw right hands at the same time 50 seconds in, but that’s it. Namajunas lands a right, then Esparza shoots in, but it’s defended. Esparza shoots in a second time and gets it, but Namajunas bounces back up. Nice left hand from Esparza. Two minutes in, more action this time. Esparza now is trying to shoot from too far out. She does it a second time, and Namajunas just misses on the break. Namajunas lands a counter left as Esparza rushes in from far away. Esparza is out of range with a Superman punch. Decent 1-2 from Namajunas. She also grazes a right hand to close the round. A little bit more action but NOT THAT MUCH MORE. That was a Namajunas round 10-9.

Round 4 – Esparza closes distance with a shot that gets stuffed about a minute in, and Namajunas lands a left on the break. Another shot from Esparza that scores, and she briefly gets Namajunas’ back, but she’s too high and loses it. They’re back to standing. Esparza shoots in again halfway through, doesn’t get it, but she lands a left on the way out. Namajunas lands a decent right hand when Esparza closes in. Now with 90 seconds left, Esparza gets another takedown. She drags her backward and takes the back, but Namajunas rolls out of it and lands a left on the break. Most action of the round right there. This was a pretty clear Esparza round 10-9.

Round 5 – One minute in, and again nothing happening. Esparza rushes in but can’t get close. A nice right hand from Namajunas. Esparza lands a counter-left that snaps Namajunas’ head back. A leg kick from Esparza lands, and she grazes with a left. Namajunaas lands a nice right hand with about 2:30 remaining. Namajunas looks frustrated, but she’s also decided to not engage much, showing respect for Esparza’s grappling. This round is still up for grabs with 90 seconds left. Esparza misses with a big right. Namajunas shoots for a takedown and gets it in the final 10 seconds. That probably gives her the round 10-9, but we’ve got Esparza winning the fight 48-47. BUT HONESTLY WHO THE HELL KNOWS?

Round 1 – Oliveira lands a big right hand already and hurts Gaethje, who lands a hard leg kick in response. Oliveira hurts Gaethje again with a right hand, but Gaethje responds by dropping him with a hook. Gaethje drops him AGAIN with a hook, and we’re only a minute in. Gaethje is loading up on his punches, and now Oliveira is pressuring. He’s also bleeding bad from his left eye. Oliveira lands a hard left hand. They clinch in the center, and Olivera pulls guard, but Gaethje slips and lets him stand up. EVERYTHING Gaethje seems to be throwing is with all of his might. Oliveira knocks down Gaethje with a straight right hand, and Olveira is able to take his back, and now Gaethje is in big trouble. Gaethje tries to get up and scramble out, but Oliveira stays on him, gets his back, and there it is. WOW. Oliveira chokes out Gaethje with a rear-naked choke after some crazy action.
