M6 closures scrapped after roadworks cause 12-hour delays between Lancaster and Preston
The heap of footballs mysteriously appeared in their Manchester garden overnight.
A mum told how her neighbour moved out - and her kid got back all 23 balls which had been kicked into her garden.
Her child and their pal lost countless balls over the fence over the last six years, and the older woman “refused” to throw them back.
But when she moved out, a pile of balls - all 23 of them - appeared next to the child’s house.
It seems the neighbour had not been throwing them back over the duration of their time at the home in Manchester.
The mum, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: “Moaning faced neighbour has moved so we’ve finally got the balls back she refused to send back.
She added: “It must be over the space of about five or six years!
“We went on holiday in August and when we came back they were just there piled up in the corner.
“I’ve spoke to the neighbour who lived next door to them and he said he never saw them in their garden so they must’ve been storing them somewhere instead of just sending them back! Weird behaviour.
“I don’t think we’ll ever know how or why they reappeared!”
