Highland Drive and Cordova Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, several street signs were stolen between Jan. 1 and July 2.
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a call from a store that a male adult entered the store and took numerous items then left the area. According to the report, an employee witnessed on the store’s security cameras two females, reportedly both Hispanic, entering the store. The first female was about 30 years old, 5’7” tall and weighing about 250 pounds. At the time she was wearing a grey hoodie with the word “Levi” across the front, blue jeans and a black facemask. The second suspect was about 40 years old, 5’5” tall and weighing about 180 pounds. At the time she was wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.
The two suspects went around the store and filled bags and a laundry hamper with items. They left the store, leaving the bags and laundry hamper in the store near the exit. After the two female suspects left the store a male suspect, reported as Hispanic, entered the store. This third suspect was described as about 30 years old, 5’7” tall and wearing about 150 pounds. At the time he was wearing a black/red jersey, black shorts and carrying a crowbar. According to the report it appeared the male suspect was trying to find the laundry basket and bags left by the two female suspects but was unable to find them and left the store. Then the female suspects reentered the store; the first suspect grabbed the bags and laundry basket they had left and ran out of the store; the second suspect left the store as well. They all got into a silver Ford Expedition.
The thefts occurred at 6:10 p.m.
5400 block of Arroyo Summit Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a balcony window door was smashed and drawers were left open in the bedroom. At the time nothing was reported stolen. A witness reporting seeing two suspects wearing all black walk onto the property at 9:30 p.m.
4400 block of Cornishon Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, the security chain-link fence at the city’s skate park was cut. Surveillance footage revealed a Caucasian male juvenile with blond hair and wearing a dark colored shirt, black pants and black and white sneakers approach the fence with a pair of wire cutters. The suspect cut the fence. The footage revealed another male juvenile, described as Asian, with black hair and wearing a black graphic T-shirt, beige pants and black and white sneakers, approach the fence. Both juveniles were standing in front of a hole in the fence that the first juvenile had cut.
Both juveniles enter the skate park just after 1:45 p.m.
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reported seeing a female, described as Black and at the time wearing an orange hooded sweater with black pants, walk into the men’s department with three empty reusable bags, grab items off the shelves and stuff them into the bags until they were full. She then exited the back of the store and entered a grey Toyota Prius and left the area at 6:50 p.m.
