The Coast Guard Foundation has awarded 168 new scholarships in 2022, totaling $550,000 in support for the 2022-23 academic year. These scholarships benefit children of enlisted men and women who are serving or have served – whether on active duty or reserve, retired or deceased – in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Recipients include Elizabeth Fiscus, daughter of retired Coast Guard veteran Brian Fiscus from Sturgeon Bay; and Gracen Spritka of Sturgeon Bay, daughter of retired Coast Guard veteran Wayne Spritka.
